      SHARED VALUES AND EXPECTATIONS OF THE COMMUNITY:

      We believe in and value:

1.    A strong partnership between students, parents, home tutors and teachers;

2.    Respect for others, their needs, feelings, rights and belongings;

3.    Be courteous, considerate and kind.

      CODE OF BEHAVIOUR

      Our School is:

         •        One where people are courteous, considerate and kind.

         •        One where communication is practised.  People talk with each other (not at each other).

         •        One that has reasonable rules which everyone agrees on because they are beneficial to the individual and to the group, and everyone has a democratic stake in them because everyone

                   has a say in making and changing the rules as needs arise.

         •        One where everyone actively supports and participates in an approach to discipline that teaches self-responsibility. There is a need to continually evaluate the effectiveness of our code of conduct.
